Created in collaboration with the Orange County Asian Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA)'s Project Hope, Dr. Ishihara developed the video series Thoughtful Parenting: Understanding Your Child, Understanding Yourself which covers topics such as Mindful Parenting, Learning about the Brain, the Window of Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, Storytelling, Attachment and the Parent/Child Relationship, and specific Parenting Techniques and Mindful Discipline. The content of the videos are based on Dan Siegel's Parenting from the Inside Out and The Whole Brain Child, with specific Parenting Techniques included from The Child and Family Institute's Compassionate Parenting Training. Drs. Luhmann and Ishihara collaborated on a Diagnosis Decision Tree, based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5-TR), which helps clinicians to evaluate appropriate questions to determine potential diagnoses.
